Movies to see

Gina, the wife of my borther in law's brother John suggested that I list top ten movies. I have rented just about everything at Blockbuster except the horror and soft porn, so I am a fairly thorough viewer thouh with no film philosophy or knowledge whatsoever. I've automatically disqualified anything with Adam Sandler and Tom Cruise for whom I have allergies. Here's my list as of today, Monday, August 29th, 9:45 am:


10: The Importance of Being Earnest, latest version, Wow, the dialogue sparkles!!


9. The Ideal Husband, Wow, the dialogue sparkles!!


8. The Crucible, the latest movie version of the Arthur Miller. Great acting, very realistic depiction of the lives of Puritans, compelling..

7. Spinal tap, who made this one? I've played in rock bands... enough said.

6. Manhattan Murder Mystery, Woody--- laughed the whole way through, especially when a corpse comes through the ceiling of the elevator and Woody sinks to the ground and says, "First thing Monday, I'm going to see my rabbi".

5. Fear of a Black Hat, don't know who made it-- the black/rap spinal tap. Now that rap-hip-hop is mostly nasty sludge, this movie's hard hitting racial humor is right on...

4. The story of the weeping camel, so beautiful I watched it four times in two days

3. The Apostle with Robert Duvall, very, very interesting ideas --- how do we know God's guidancve as opposed to our preferences? Can one ever start over?

2. Ran, by Akiro Kurusawa (I don't know how to spell the name) the colors!, the panorama!, the opening hunt of wild boar!, the silk outfits!, the royal chambers and palaces!, the drama !!!

1. The Apu trilogy by S----- (I can't remember how to spell it) Ray from Bengal, India --- untr\il you see these three movies, you don't what a movie can truly be!


These will no doubt change and very close to being included are such greats as Rat Race and Office Space..

My name is Maya and I am nine years old. I go to a School where I am in fourth grade. I like to swim, play cards, play soccer, play Violin, Math and read books about History. I have been to four places on earth (1. Canada (2. France (3. Bermuda(I was born there) and (4. United States. I like Bermuda the best because its usually sunny, we lived right next to a Kumquat tree, I liked my school and I made alot of friends there. I have one brother named Dylan and my parents Catherine and Johann. My Mother was born in Washington D.C. and my Father was born in Canada (even though most of his Family is from China and Singapore), except me and my brother were born in Bermuda.
